Many people think of walking as recreational and not really exercise, but that daily walk can be hugely beneficial to your health - and it's free to do!
Health Walks West Dunbartonshire offers FREE accessible health and social walks lasting up to 1 hour around the authority area.
We currently host walks in Alexandria, Clydebank, Dumbarton and from Old Kilpatrick to Bowling.
Our Alexandria Walk is in Argyll Park, Argyll Street, Alexandria G83 0QJ and begins at 10:30am on Mondays
Our Clydebank Walk begins at 10:00am every Thursday beside the Band Stand on Three Queen Square taking in different routes around the local area with 2 of the routes accessible to mobility scooters.
Our Dumbarton Walk is in Levengrove Park every Monday morning. Walkers meet at Kilmahew Fountain with the walk starting at 10:00am.
Old Kilpatrick, Saltings and Bowling walking groups has been walking for over 10 years with a regular walk starting at 10:30am every Monday, leaving from beside the Key Store on Dumbarton Road.
